Aimee Perkins

Aimee is a native of Louisiana, where she earned her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Louisiana State University. Her master’s thesis focused on voice, investigating differential diagnosis of voice disorders using high speed digital imaging technology. She has worked extensively in the acute care setting, as well as inpatient and outpatient settings, as a clinical speech pathologist managing patients with speech/language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
Aimee’s interests include clinical and instrumental evaluation and treatment of swallowing and voice disorders. Her professional affiliations include ASHA, with membership in the Special Interest Group (SIG) for Voice and Upper Airway Disorders (SIG 3).
