On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 viral disease to be a pandemic. In the last 8 weeks we have seen unprecedented changes that have occurred causing our practice to continually adapt to meet these challenges.
Since that time, we have followed CDC and state recommendations, implementing necessary precautions to protect both patients and employees. As a result of this emergency and a rapidly evolving situation, our practice moved predominantly to a telehealth virtual appointment system with limited in-person evaluations.
Beginning May 25th, we will resume seeing patients in the Hickory Office location Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. We will also have full Audiology and Allergy services (by appointment only). All patients will be screened before entering the building.
Our Lincolnton Office will reopen for all services Monday- Friday from 8:30-4:30pm. We will also have full Audiology and Allergy services (by appointment only). All patients will be screened prior to entering the main building by Atrium Staff and should call (704) 748-6712 upon arrival at our suite. Patients will be asked to wait in the common areas, we will call you when we are ready for you to come in.
Our Morganton Officewill reopen for all services Monday- Friday from 8:30-4:30pm. We will also have full Audiology and Allergy services (by appointment only). All patients should call (828) 391-2117 upon arrival and will be screened over the phone. Patients will be asked to wait in their cars and we will call you when we are ready for you to come in.
Our office is working quickly to reschedule all in-person visits that were impacted as a result of the pandemic. We will continue to provide telemedicine visits as well to ensure you continue to have the access you need.
Our patients’ and employees’ safety are very important to us, so our office will be taking the following precautions to comply with current recommendations:
All staff will wear masks or face coverings.
All patients and visitors should wear a mask/face covering. If not available, a tissue may be used.
We are offering hand sanitizer at entrances and exits.
We ask that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment to allow adequate spacing in order to maintain these precautions.
We are limiting the number of people in our office to maintain social distancing. We ask that only one person attend the visit with the patient. Others will be asked to wait in their car.
Please use on-line services through Phreesia or our patient portal prior to your visit to update medical information. This will reduce the amount of time you are in our office.
Until further notice we will continue COVID-19 screening and temperature checks of anyone entering our medical facilities.
Additionally, for your safety and ours, we have sprayed a new, non-toxic Monofoil Antimicrobial barrier throughout our offices. We also continue to perform routine high-level disinfection.
