Zero Tolerance Policy for Patient Behavior
At Carolina Ear, Nose & Throat Sinus and Allergy Center, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all patients and staff. To protect the well-being of our team and maintain the integrity of our clinic, we have adopted the following Zero Tolerance Policy regarding patient behavior.
Policy Statement:
We do not tolerate inappropriate behavior toward our physicians, staff and other patients under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Verbal abuse or disrespectful language
- Yelling, threats, or intimidation
- Aggressive or confrontational behavior
- Demanding or disruptive conduct
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate physical contact
Enforcement:
Any violation of this policy will result in immediate and permanent dismissal from the practice. This means:
- The patient will be asked to leave the clinic immediately
- We will no longer provide medical services to the individual involved
