Dawn de Neef
MD, FACS
Dr. Dawn de Neef joined the practice of Carolina Ear, Nose & Throat – Sinus and Allergy Center in 2003 and is an active member of the medical staff at Frye Regional Medical Center, Catawba Valley Medical Center and Viewmont Surgery Center.
She is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. de Neef graduated magna cum laude from Rice University with a degree in biochemistry and received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her surgical internship at Mount Carmel Health System and her otolaryngology residency at the Ohio State University at Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. de Neef currently serves as the audiology physician liaison at Carolina ENT, oversees imaging services and serves as a physician representative for an advisory committee at the Viewmont Surgery Center. Over the years, she has served on the Board at Carolina ENT, on the Surgical Services and Medical Executive Committees at Frye Regional Medical Center, as secretary of surgery at Frye Regional Medical Center and as the ENT section chief for both Frye Regional Medical Center and Catawba Valley Medical Center.
