Emilee Tucker
AuD, CCC-A, CH-TM
Born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina, Dr. Tucker graduated from Appalachian State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in communication disorders and a minor in psychology. She attended East Tennessee State University for graduate school where she completed clinical rotations in the university clinic, private practice and the public-school system. She received extensive training through ETSU’s partnership with the Mountain Home Veterans Affairs Medical Center working with our nation’s veteran population. She completed her fourth-year externship at Birkdale Audiology in Huntersville, North Carolina. Dr. Tucker graduated with her Doctor of Audiology in May 2020.
Dr. Tucker holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She is also a Certificate Holder in Tinnitus Management through the American Board of Audiology. She is a Provider Member of the American Tinnitus Association and is a member of the North Carolina Audiology Association.
Diagnosed with hearing loss as a child, Dr. Tucker has worn hearing aids for more than 20 years. She is thankful for the ability to connect with her patients on a personal level and strives to provide the same care to her patients that she has received.
Dr. Tucker’s clinical interests include tinnitus assessment and management, as well as treatment of hearing loss through hearing aids, wireless accessories and aural rehabilitation.
